Surrender to Stillness: Yin Yoga

Slow down, prioritise rest and cultivate a feeling of comfort and contentment in stillness.

We will explore soothing pranayama (breathwork) to calm the nervous system, move through a gentle sequence of seated and laying poses to gently create space and find release in the body and mind, before settling into a relaxing guided meditation.

Yin yoga is suitable for all ages and levels of experience. The poses are held passively from 3 to 7 minutes and can be easily modified and supported with props to adapt around limitations or injury, and is suitable for pre- and post-natal.

This calming and restorative Yin Yoga session will be run by Vanessa.
