ZUMBA Fitness classes

Fun, fun, fun! And some serious torching of calories! Zumba ticks all the boxes for a fun and effective workout.

Regardless of how fit you are, with Zumba you can dance and ‘party’ at your own pace. It is fun, social, effective, easy-to-follow and burns lots of calories!  

Featuring contemporary world music, Zumba allows you to work out at your pace - Keep it low impact, or really bust out the moves to elevate your heart rate more! It is a both a physical and cognitive workout!

This class has a high-low intensity format so you have time to recover between more energetic songs. It is a great way to build your fitness, your coordination and pick up some funky dance moves. Try a few classes to learn the basics and you’ll be totally hooked!

The music and the dance moves are international - salsa, merengue, bhangra, African, cumbia, reggaetón, pop and swing! A great way to release those positive endorphins - making it good for your mental wellbeing and for your soul!

ZUMBA GOLD

Dear Zumba Gold students, we haven’t forgotten you but will hold off on reintroducing Zumba Gold classes until we either find a more spacious and suitable daytime venue, or Covid risk in the community lessens.

SCHEDULE

  • Tuesdays 5.30pm (school terms only)

  • Saturdays 10am

PRICE

$20 per class or less with a discount multi-class pass.

LOCATION

Zumba classes are held in a larger venue at St Canice’s School hall Katoomba (behind the Catholic church on Katoomba St).
