PILATES BALANCE “PREHAB”

Combining both standing and floor exercises, our Pilates Balance class with Sarah will help you to maintain and enhance your balance before it becomes a concern!

We all start to lose our ability to balance well before we ever notice. Evidence shows that from most people start to see a decline in their balance and stability from their mid 30s. Over time, this also leads to a decline in body confidence, which is it is so important for us to incorporate dedicated exercise to maintain what we have.

This Pilates Balance is especially designed to people aged 35-65, catering to all fitness levels. You'll immerse yourself in a harmonious blend of core-strengthening exercises, mindful movement , and flexibility-enhancing routines that will help you build a strong and resilient body, while offering a number of challenging moves that will help you to test and improve your balance.

With regular practice and commitment you will start to notice the difference in your stability and your ability to execute various exercises.

Please note that this class is not 'rehab' for people who have already been diagnosed with poor balance or who have had one or more falls due to instability. For this we recommend that you consult a physiotherapist to provide you with a personal supervised program.
